The very latest update of scores from the Behavioral Board of Science (BBS) reveals that CIIS graduates consistently put the Institute at the top of the list for pass rates in the State of California.
The Institute rates as number one for schools in California having more than 20 students taking the exam, with 96 percent of our students passing the test on their first attempt.
We recently did an interview with Steven Tierney, chair of the Community Mental Health program at CIIS, in which he attributes our long-standing success in licensing exams to the "quality of our curriculum, faculty, and students" and to "three primary guiding principals upon which the Institute builds the foundation of its clinical programs."
