Dr. Lindsey Liggan is a licensed physical therapist in the states of California and Oregon. She has dedicated her time and her clinical practice to help people heal from sexual dysfunction and various pelvic pain conditions.

Lindsey earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach. She then went on to receive her clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy form Western University of Health Sciences. She is one of 400 physical therapists in the nation that hold a board certification in women’s health physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and she also holds an advanced clinical certification in pelvic rehabilitation from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

In addition to her clinical practice, she is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Physical Therapy Education at Western University of Health Sciences. For the last five years she has been contributing to the growth of the physical therapy profession by teaching and mentoring students in the entry level program. Her teaching areas of teaching include Pathophysiology, Anatomy, and Screening for Medical Referral.

Lindsey is currently a second year student in the Human Sexuality PhD program at CIIS. While in the program she is exploring questions and research surrounding the impact of disability on sexual function and expression.
