Biography
Lianne Hope, MPH/MSW (she/her) has a wealth of experience in program and project management in public health, tech, and sexuality. Through the Ryan White Program, Lianne managed advisory boards in Boston and Oakland, to ensure services were adequately funded for people living with HIV. In 2021, Lianne contributed to the COVID-19 emergency response by designing and launching a county-wide Vaccine Incentive Program and assisting with operations at the Oakland Coliseum mass vaccination site.
Lianne conducted needs assessments, facilitated strategic planning sessions, and wrote policy for public health agencies including the CA Department of Public Health, Riverside University Health Systems, and the CA Prevention Training Center. Previously, she served as a clinical therapist, working alongside people with addiction, refugees, and adults with mental illness.
Lianne received a Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work degrees from Boston University. In 2022, she was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award, honoring leaders and activists who inspire and catalyze us all to a more just and equitable world. In her spare time, she co-creates fun activities through thePLAYCE, an event-based project for adults in the San Francisco Bay Area to access play and creativity.
