Bio

Giovanni is a PhD Candidate in Human Sexuality. They hold a Master of Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University, and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. JS has over 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy, and 7 years of experience using art-based methods to empower trans, genderqueer, and nonbinary people.

JS works as a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Market Street Center for Psychotherapy, a private practice internship in San Francisco.

JS specializes in helping their psychotherapy clients address issues related to sex, love, intimacy and gender from a relational, queer, feminist, strength-based, anti-oppressive, client-centered, existential, sex positive, kink and poly aware perspective.

JS's current research interests include:
