Giacinta is a clinical social worker in New York City. She writes and speaks nationally on an array of sexuality-related topics for clinical professionals in the medical and behavioral health fields, as well as for the general public, and is an advocate and steering committee member of the NYC NASW SOGIE Collective.
Her doctoral work aims to queer understandings of identity, and, by extension, clinical assessment and intervention. Giacinta holds an MSS from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, a BSW from Temple University, and is a certified EMDR clinician.
