East-West Psychology & Master of Fine Arts Joint Degree: Online Info Session

A Faculty- and Counselor-Led Info Session with Cindy Shearer, Debashish Banerji, and Dennis Spears

The East-West Psychology and Interdisciplinary Arts and Writing MFA Joint Degree brings together two programs for students seeking to integrate interdisciplinary education and creative scholarship.

East-West Psychology is a multidisciplinary hub and learning community where psychological and spiritual traditions of the East, West, and Indigenous cultures from around the world meet to converse and transform each other. Students in the East-West Psychology program practice collaborative learning and participate in engaged psychologies that address issues of psycho-spiritual practice, embodied self-actualization, social justice, and ecological awareness.

The Interdisciplinary Arts and Writing MFA program gives students a chance to focus on their own practice in a collaborative, co-creative setting. This unique degree focuses on the vital role of inquiry in art-making, the value for artists to engage across forms and disciplines, and the advancement of our students as artists in the world.

During this info session, you will have the chance to ask questions about the curriculum and learn how the East-West Psychology and MFA Joint Degree can help you meet your educational and career goals.
