Alumni Film Screening: Who Do You Think You Are?

The film explores today’s global crises and our disconnection from our deepest level of self. This film distinguishes itself by addressing social issues within the context of the spiritual notion that everything changes when we know deeply who we are. 

Through the wisdom of psychologists, spiritual thinkers, and people who have undergone deep personal transformation — including Neale Donald Walsch (author of Conversations with God) and Patch Adams, M.D. (physician, clown, and activist) — the film invites reflection on what the current world crises are asking of us. 

Stunning visuals and an original soundtrack enrich this very timely film. Recent screenings include film festivals, transpersonal psychology conferences, ashrams, monasteries, and higher educational institutions in India, Vietnam, USA, Portugal, Mexico, and Canada and the film has been nominated for Best Feature Documentary at the Montreal Independent Film Festival 2025.

About the Filmmakers

Alan Baiss, M.A., completed a Master's in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and worked for 12 years as a psychotherapist before the president of his graduate school engaged him to make his earliest film. He has produced four films that explore the depths of human potential.

Joseh Garcia, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Following a career as a transpersonal psychotherapist, he dedicated himself to the transformative arts, creating music, books, and films that aim to raise consciousness. Joseh's work in film production includes composing film scores, as he did for the documentary Who Do You Think You Are?
