Human Sexuality Program Students
Students of the Human Sexuality program at CIIS
Stefan Lucke holds a MA in Communication Studies from Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich. His research interests focus on childhood/adolescent sexuality, marginalized sexualities and genders, sex offenses, decriminalization, harm reduction, and social justice--including the political and public discourse around these topics. A German immigrant to the US since 1999, Stefan is interested in bridging scholarship internationally and among academic disciplines. His goals are advocacy for the disenfranchised, teaching, and promoting sexual literacy as well as sensible policy. Theoretical leanings include queer theory, critical theory, and feminism.
Before arriving back in academia, Stefan had careers in sound engineering and information technology. He appreciates art, music, and media as transformative agents, and he sometimes likes to connect to his inner jester.
