Sophia O'Connor believes that sexual liberation is both a social justice and a mental health issue that needs our attention more than ever in the realms of both therapy and sex education. Sophia graduated from Naropa University with her Master's Degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. Sophia currently provides culturally sensitive sex-positive therapy to young adults and folx living non-normative lifestyles in Boulder, Colorado. Sophia is also passionate about sexual assault prevention work, and she provides teens with consent workshops that emphasize the importance of pleasure and of understanding of how strict gender roles lead to power differences as well as sexual violence.
