PhD Student
Human Sexuality
MAT, BS
"Hello, my name is Marjorie Adair Sartwell-Schlitt. I have my bachelors in psychology and my masters in teaching. I am pursuing my PhD in Human Sexuality. Currently, I am a science and health teacher at an alternative school in Central Vermont. I am here because Sexuality is a human right and it is a multidisciplinary biopsychosocial field. I am interested in several areas within this field, but mostly sexuality education for youth. I am currently thinking about exploring a clinical/therapeutic approach to comprehensive education for kids specifically with trauma and/or mood disorders.
In the past, I worked in a behavioral science lab. My published article is below. I am also interested in working in a similar lab in the future, studying sexual hormones or evolutionary psychology. I am thrilled to be here!
