M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy
Marisa Fialho holds an MS in marriage and family therapy from Seton Hall University, a BA in psychology from Florida International University, and an AS in photography from Daytona State College. She's dually licensed in the State of Hawaii and New York State as a marriage and family therapist and a credentialed substance abuse counselor. She currently works as a contractor for the US Military, conducting individual, family, and marital counseling. In 2019, she will be launching a private practice via telehealth.
Marisa enjoys pilates, scuba-diving, and hiking. She currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii, with her boyfriend and cavaliers Charlie and Belhaven.
Marisa's dissertation concept is utilizing biofeedback as a way of treatment that can help reduce symptoms of sexual dysfunction in military service members and veterans who suffer from PTSD.
