The Variety of Integral Ecologies: Nature, Culture, and Knowledge in the Planetary Era

Latest book from Professor Sean Kelly, Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Alum Sam Mickey, and Ph.D. Student Adam Robbert

May 9, 2017

After seven years in the making, Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness Professor Sean Kelly, Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness alumnus and adjunct lecturer Sam Mickey, and doctoral student Adam Robbert's co-edited volume The Variety of Integral Ecologies: Nature, Culture, and Knowledge in the Planetary Era has been published.

The book offers a plurality of integral approaches to ecology that cut across the boundaries of the humanities and sciences to help us understand and respond to the present ecological crisis. Contributors draw upon founding figures and precursors like Thomas Berry, Leonardo Boff, Holmes Rolston III, Ken Wilber, and Edgar Morin.

The Variety of Integral Ecologies serves as both an accessible guide and an advanced supplement to the growing research seeking a comprehensive understanding of ecological issues so as to develop a more peaceful, just, and sustainable planetary civilization.

Available now on Amazon as a Kindle download, paperback, and hardcover.
