In these times of ecological collapse and cultural upheaval there is demand for a deeper root from which to derive sustenance, guidance, and an enlarged sense of care and compassion. By delving into the depths of our connection to the living Earth and to our ancestors, we can bring forth a more just and beautiful world.
Join author and facilitator Adrián Villasenor-Galarza for a transformative workshop exploring our belonging to the living Earth, alongside an inclusive, culturally mindful exploration of our own blood and bone lineages. Adrián draws upon Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects, a renowned form of groupwork which inspires us to act on behalf of the welfare of others while seeing ourselves as Earth in human form. Adrián utilizes Joanna’s work in tandem with ancestral healing modalities that assist in transforming systemic entanglements into healing gifts of personal and family import.
Anchored by these two systems, Adrián gently guides participants on a journey of connection and healing. Through group work, visioning, lectures, ritual, nature connection, and meditation, participants awaken to the healing guidance of the Earth and the nurturing vibrancy of our human ancestors. We all have bright and well ancestors ready to support and guide our own journeys, regardless of our cultural background or personal upbringing. Equally, Earth Reconnection & Ancestral Healing serve as potent allies in the quest for self-care, personal transformation, and cultural healing.

Adrián Villasenor-Galarza, PhD, is passionate about human transformation in service of the living Earth. International facilitator, academic collaborator, author, contemplative practitioner, and ritualist, his focus and research are informed by a contemplative, (eco)systemic, animist, and transpersonal approach to healing, wellbeing, and sustainable living. His doctorate, from CIIS, centered on the confluence of Eastern liberation teachings and the study of the human-nature connection, resulting in an elemental framework for self-discovery, healing, and sustainable action. Adrián is the translator into Spanish of Joanna Macy’s seminal book, Coming Back to Life: The Updated Guide of the Work That Reconnects and actively facilitates the Work That Reconnects throughout Latin America and beyond.
