Anger and shame are essential emotions, yet most of us have been taught to either suppress or overexpress these emotions, even run from them. This is unfortunate, because they are vital to your sense of self and your ability to relate deeply with others.

Anger—when you know how to work with it—helps you identify what you value, setting boundaries with honor and clarity. Shame—when you understand its healing purpose—helps you identify and live up to your deepest ethics and support them in the world.

Join Karla McLaren for an experiential workshop exploring the supportive powers of anger and shame. Karla shares new ways to access the loving and relational core of anger and the necessary and ethical heart of shame. Through exercises, skill-building, conversation, and emotionally respectful mindfulness practices, participants experience the essential healing wisdom in these two powerful emotions and learn how to brilliantly work with them.
