Releasing Your Inner Critic Through Breathwork

A Workshop with Susan Ateh

Two-Day Online Workshop, 3 Hours Per Day

Breathwork is a powerful tool that gives us access to our internal life, enabling us to be active participants in our own healing journey. Through the practice of active breath, we can dive deep within ourselves, peel back the layers, and look at the fears holding us back from being our true selves.

Join breathwork facilitator and creative Susan Ateh for a gently transformative workshop on releasing your inner critic and empowering your true self. Through a mixture of active three-part breath practice and other experiential exercises, Susan helps participants get to the root of the inner voices that shame us, the feelings and thoughts that leave us feeling inadequate and prevent us from stepping fully into our lives.

Susan incorporates guided meditation, journaling, as well as writing and drawing prompts to help participants transform their inner critic into an ally, restoring trust in the Self. Practice building trust in the Self, finding harmony and balance in the body and amplifying your voice through movement meditation and voice work.

There is much freedom to be felt when we unburden what holds us back and bravely honor who we are.

Susan Ateh is a breathwork facilitator, actor, and writer. She aids the body's ability to heal itself from emotional wounds through specialized breathwork techniques. Susan uses her unique skill set to help people amplify their voices, take up space and showcase their abilities. With an open heart, Susan guides you through a transformative experience. Her goal is for you to come home to yourself, uplift your unique voice and take up your space in the world.

Susan’s passion is working with humans across the board: actors, creatives, business owners, execs, writers, leaders, employees and respective others to help strengthen their unique voice and embody who they are with confidence to capture their audience and deliver their message with confidence.

Susan trained in Speech and Drama at DIT conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin, Ireland. With 15+years' experience in the creative world as an actor, delivering material on camera and in rooms on very short notice was a skill she refined. With time, practice and moving through the sometimes painful and uncomfortable process, her unique voice was able to shine through. She learned to love her voice even when it shook, and she leaned in to taking up the space she deserves.

In addition to the above, combining her breathwork experience allows her to curate an instinctual and practical experience to support you gaining your voice and confidence back. Susan has held over 50 workshops in various sizes and worked with many companies including: Noval Reid, Modern Women, Spotlight, The Actor's Collaborative, Movement Maker, Dive in Well, The Den, Modo Yoga, Upstart, WeAudition, CORO Women Leadership, Spirit Guide. Susan has appeared on multiple podcasts and in several print publications.
