Research Interests

Clinical training and supervision, the intersection of Psychoanalysis and Community Mental Health, psychodynamic theory and practice; relational theory and intersubjectivity, gender and sexuality, feminist theory, culture and community, and trauma and recovery. 

Biography

Dr. Lani Chow has been the Chair of the department (2017-2020) and the Director of Clinical Training for the Psychology Doctoral Program 2014-2018. She was the Director of the Psychological Services Center from 2008-2020. 

Courses

Dr. Chow regularly taught Foundation Clinical Skills, Ind. and Couples, Professional Laws and Ethics, Gender and Sexuality a Culture and Ethnicity. Recently she has taught Professional Seminars and Perspectives on Trauma.
