Heather Howard is a sexologist and mind-body health facilitator. Educated in the science of sexuality and mind-body integrative techniques, she uses her unique expertise to help clients cope and prosper in often neglected facets of their lives such as intimacy, pleasure, and body acceptance and appreciation. In addition to clinical work with individuals and couples, Dr. Howard offers courses for individuals, couples, medical students and health care providers, and is also available for public speaking engagements. She recently launched www.Ergoerotics.com to provide ergonomic sexual adjustments related to physical limitations and pain.
Dr. Howard earned her BA from UC Berkeley, MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, and PhD and MPH in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. She learned experiential approaches to support mind-body integration and the Aware Ego Process at the New York Voice Dialogue Institute and Voice Dialogue Australia. Dr. Howard is a Board Certified Sexologist through the American College of Sexologists, and a Certified Sexuality Counselor and Certified Sexuality Educator with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
