Application Requirements
- Masters-level student; enrolled in graduate counseling program
- All supervision will be conducted with clinical supervisor, Vicki Vinculado, LMFT
- 2 hours Mandatory group supervision on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings 10am-12pm
- 1 hour Individual supervision Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9-4pm (excluding 10am-12pm)
- Required availability: 16-20 hours/week; combination of direct face-to-face client hours and indirect administrative/training hours
- Understanding and sensitivity to the major issues facing clients
- Must have reliable transportation and be available during regular school hours
- Copy of most up-to-date TB test
- Proof of student liability insurance
- Preferred, but not required, fluency in a second language (Tagalog, Chinese, Spanish, etc)
- Preferred experience working with individuals of diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds in school settings or in agencies providing similar services
Remote Work Options
Yes, hybrid based on agency/site/client need.
Financial Compensation
Yes, stipend offered to help offset some educational expenses (such as tuition and required fees, student activity fees, and other academic related expenses, such as books and supplies) clinicians may incur while participating in the internship program. Summer interns and short-term interns will not be eligible for a stipend.
