American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM)Master of Science of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM)Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Completion Program (DACMCP)

  • ACTCM is following its programmatic accreditor’s stipulations on emergency waivers for face-to-face instruction. For the 2021-2022 academic year, ACTCM will continue to offer courses that cover didactic content as live webinar or asynchronous online format consistent with approval by their programmatic accreditor for inclusion of distance learning courses within the degree programs where 51 percent or more of the content is face-to-face instruction. The DACMCP Completion Degree program courses are scheduled as 100 percent online asynchronous courses.

School of Professional Psychology and Health

Clinical Psychology (PsyD)

  • Summer 2022 PSYD program classes will meet at their scheduled time in a virtual meeting space. It is anticipated that there will be either no or very limited on-campus meetings. Community Mental Health (M.A.)

  • The CMH Program will continue to hold all classes online and virtually through the Summer 2022 semester. The CMH Program will hold classes in-person for the Fall 2022 semester. Drama Therapy (M.A.)

  • The Drama Therapy Program will hold courses virtually this Spring semester. Academic advising will continue to be virtual. In late January, we will decide and post here whether our applicant interview days in late February and early March will be in-person or by zoom.

Expressive Arts Therapy (M.A.)

  • For Fall 2021, there will be a mix of in-person, synchronous virtual, and asynchronous (online) course delivery formats. We are unable to announce any course delivery formats for Spring 2022. We are requiring students to bring their own program-provided arts materials to each in-person session, and are instructing students to refrain from sharing art materials with one another. If you have further questions, please contact Paula Junn, EXA Program Manager at exa@ciis.edu.

Integral Counseling Psychology (M.A.)

  • ICP and ICPW will continue to hold all classes online and virtually through Summer 2021 semester, which means we will not hold any on-campus meetings. We will keep everyone apprised of our plans via the Canvas Cafe and emails. The ICPW program retreat will be held virtually this year. The online gathering is scheduled during the first week of August. The ICP day program will not have a retreat until further notice. If you have any questions, please contact our Program Staff. 

Somatic Psychology (M.A.)

  • Fall 2021 Somatic courses may be virtualized, with no on-campus meetings, or a hybrid format of in-person and virtual. The situation for the academic year 2021-22 is currently undecided as we continue to evaluate when, how, and how much to safely return to in-person classes. Integral and Transpersonal Psychology (Ph.D.)

  • The Integral and Transpersonal Psychology Ph.D. is already an online program, so our adaptations to COVID-19 are that our bi-annual Residential Intensive event will be held virtually rather than in person. We are recreating the Intensive event so that it can be accessible in as many time zones as possible, and reducing the length of daily schedules.   • Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion launched a fully online program effective Fall 2021. To provide maximum flexibility, much of the work will be conducted asynchronously over Canvas, our online education platform. In addition to our curricular activities, community events, symposia, and other options will provide opportunities for our community to connect.

Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness (M.A. and Ph.D.)
