Miriam Smolover, LMFT has been the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy Clinic Manager since 2013. Prior to that, she served as the John F. Kennedy University Center for Holistic Counseling Clinical Director for 18 years. Miriam has a private psychotherapy practice in Oakland, CA, rooted in a holistic approach encompassing mind, heart, body and spirit. As a therapist with a great deal of experience, she utilizes an integrative approach from many orientations and techniques. Miriam holds certifications in EMDR, Hakomi, Expressive Arts, and Hypnotherapy. She offers consultation and supervision to psychotherapists. She has led a monthly chanting meditation group, Kol HaLev/Voice of the Heart since 1998.
