Gavrila Abramson is a CSP Trainee at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy at CIIS. Gavrila Abramson

You are not meant to do this alone. As a somatic psychotherapist, I see you as the expert of your innate wholeness. You are a weave of your ancestors, of your societal and familial upbringing, of your lost and found experiences, and as your unique, brilliant self. Together, we will uncover the wisdom waiting to be reclaimed.

Therapeutically, I am informed by Relational Somatic Healing, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Eco-Somatics, and Ancestral Medicine. I am an ex-engineer gone rogue, well-versed in cultivating presence, growing self-empowerment, coming to peace with our bodies, and engaging with grief, death, and the existential ponderings of life.

Thank you for your courage. I look forward to being with you.

“Don’t apologize for the sorrow, grief, and rage you feel. It is a measure of your humanity and your maturity. It is a measure of your open heart, and as your heart breaks open there will be room for the world to heal. That is what is happening as we see people honestly confronting the sorrows of our time.”
