New Student Orientation
Welcome to CIIS! New Student Orientation (NSO) marks the official beginning of your CIIS academic experience. We’re looking forward to supporting and celebrating your transformative path. NSO is designed to guide and offer you all the information you will need to begin your journey at California Institute of Integral Studies.
New Student Orientation takes place at the start of fall and spring semesters. For new F-1 students, orientation begins the week prior to the main NSO schedule.
Before you begin your journey, we invite you to explore specific content we have created to welcome you to the world of CIIS on our CIIS Connect New Student Orientation site. To access it, please login using your mymail.ciis.edu credentials. You will have the opportunity to learn about the following:
- The nature of a CIIS education and the unique educational opportunities and resources available
- How to actively participate in our vibrant community and the University community as a whole
- Our CIIS history, community ambassadors, upcoming events, and academic services
