Biography

Susie Laurenson, M.A., is an innovator in integrative medicine who has successfully challenged the healthcare industry to incorporate holistic care and conscious leadership in medical settings and beyond.  Ms. Laurenson earned her B.A. in social psychology from Tufts University and her M.A. from Sonoma State University in marriage and family counseling.  She also holds coaching certifications from Spirit Coach and the Conscious Leadership Group.  She worked as a mental health clinician for several years before transitioning into leadership roles in healthcare organizations.  She worked with large corporations who were interested early on in embedding holistic health models of care into their employee benefit packages.  She then moved to Sutter Health where she pioneered models of clinical care that integrate evidence-based non-traditional medicine within a large healthcare system. Her expertise in creating the culture, protocols, policies, and standards for Integrative Medicine provided access to this expanded healing path to thousands of patients.

Currently, Ms. Laurenson is a change agent for leaders and team cultures, providing leadership development coaching to healthcare professionals. With thirty years of meditation practice and teaching spiritual development, she seamlessly incorporates the spiritual dimension of wellness and transformation into her personal life and profession.  She lives in northern California with her dogs and family.
