Biography

Ricki Pollycove, M.D., MHS - Dr. Pollycove is a board-certified OB-GYN and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists whose guiding principle for over 35 years has been the health and wholeness of the patients she serves.

Dr. Pollycove is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the UCSF School of Medicine. She went on to chair the Division of Gynecology at the California Pacific Medical Center, and was the founding Director for Education at the California Pacific Medical Center Breast Health Center. She is a NAMS certified menopause practitioner, and both a Fellow and a member of the Board of Trustees for the National Consortium of Breast Centers.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Pollycove was an associate professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine, and an adjunct professor and founder of the of the Integral Health Studies Master’s Program at CIIS. She continues to develop new programs for IHS to address modern health challenges.

An advocate of education for professionals and the general public, Dr. Pollycove has authored or co-authored numerous scientific papers as well as articles, videos, and books. Her books include The Idiot’s Guide to Bioidentical Hormones and Mother Nurture, and her film “Baby Safe” won a Fredi Kronenberg Award and first prize in the American Medical Association’s International Film Festival. She also regularly guests on local and national television and radio as an expert on integral medicine and health.

Dr. Pollycove is a mother, which she considers her most important job.
