What services do you offer?

We offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, as well as support groups. For more details about our services, visit Our Services.

What are your fees?

We support everyone in getting the care they need, at rates they can afford, for as long as they need counseling. That's why our fees for counseling sessions slide on a scale. Our fees are determined by your income, expenses, and specific life situation. During your phone intake, you will be asked questions about your financial situation and your fee will be determined.

If you are in need of no-cost services, we will provide you with referrals. Everyone pays something, but we work hard to make sure everyone can afford the care they need for as long as they need it.

Do you take insurance?

We do not accept health insurance, Medicare, or Medi-Cal at this time. We can provide monthly fee statements which can be used to seek reimbursement from an insurance provider.

How long are appointments?

All therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length.

How do you determine who the best therapist is for me?

This process begins with the clinic manager matching each client and therapist based on needs, experiences, availability and clinical focus. It ends when the client feels that the therapist is a good match for them.

I work full-time during the day. Can I get an appointment?

Absolutely. Our therapists are available during evenings and on weekends.

What can I expect from my first session?

The first session is generally an intake session wherein the therapist asks questions to help them understand whether they are a good match for the client's specific circumstances. This session also includes an exchange of information around what therapy looks like, what is confidentiality, and what goals and wishes the client may have in coming to therapy.

How long will I be in therapy?

It is difficult to estimate the length of psychotherapy because each person's situation is unique. You and your therapist will work together to determine how long your counseling will last. Some concerns can be resolved in a short period of time; others can take longer. There is no limit to the number of sessions you may receive. When available, clients in individual or couples therapy may also participate in group therapy for a reduced fee.

Do you offer services in other languages?

Our clinicians currently offer low-fee therapy in many languages, which vary from year to year depending on current staffing. Please call us to find out what languages we currently offer: +1 (415) 648-2644
