FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Please join the Human Sexuality Department in conversation with Dr. Carol Queen, Founder of the Center for Sex and Culture (CSC).

This event will be a celebration of the work of CSC and those who were instrumental in keeping the center an open, supportive place for many different sexuality and gender communities for over 15 years. A pop-up array of artifacts and texts from the Center's archives will be on display in the Desai Matta Gallery.

The Center for Sex & Culture, was a non-profit located in San Francisco at 1349 Mission St. between 9th and 10th. It closed in January 2019 based on out-of-control rent increases in San Francisco.

Join us in dialogue about the future of sexual expression, the realities of gentrification, and the value of remembering our histories. This event is FREE and open to the public.
