Additional Information
Albany Middle and High School Mental Health Program serves the students attending the middle school, the high school, and the alternative high school. The program provides brief and long-term therapy, family support and intervention, as well as crisis intervention and case management. Group therapy is also an option for interns. Our interns are embedded within the school community and encouraged to work with school staff, teachers and admin as needed. Parent and caregiver collaboration is also encouraged.
We offer a two day orientation before and during the first week of school. These dates are TBD but will be around 8/15. We provide individual and group supervision and trainings throughout the year. Our group supervision is Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30pm and is a requirement for all our interns to attend.
