Exploring the Nondual Path in Dangerous Times with David R. Loy

Throughout history, humanity has tried to understand and make sense of our world. As we moved from survival instincts to more complex societies, we developed moral and ethical frameworks that have kept societies functioning for centuries. But now, in the modern era, those frameworks have proven rigid, inflexible, and often unable to accommodate new information and ideas. Some of us have turned to secularism and scientific progress, which have resulted in awesome technologies—many of which improve our lives immensely, but some of which threaten our existence. Where do we go from here?

In this episode Zen teacher and author David Robert Loy and CIIS Clinical Psychology faculty Dr. Rene Dumetz explore how we can fix what's gone wrong with humanity by embracing a non-dualistic worldview. Drawing from David’s recent book, Loving the World as Our Body, Rene and David discuss how a non-dualistic worldview can expand our own view of transformation and healing, and offer wisdom for the current dangers humanity faces.
