CIIS's 15th Annual Haridas and Bina Chaudhuri Dinner and Celebration took place May 6th, 2017. This year's dinner honored Dr. Shefali Tsabary (PDT '96), a psychologist, keynote speaker, New York Times bestselling author & CIIS alum.
A graduate of CIIS's Drama Therapy program, Dr. Shefali Tsabary received her doctorate from Columbia University and is a world-renowned clinical psychologist. She integrates Eastern philosophy with Western psychology and is an expert on conscious parenting.
Last year, we honored accomplished Vedic scholar and practitioner Acharaya Shunya Pratichi Mathur and brought the total raised for the new Haridas Chaudhuri Endowed Chair for Indian Philosophies and Cultures to over $1 Million. Enjoy photos from a delightful evening where we raised $35,000 while connecting with friends and our faculty and staff. We are more than halfway to reaching our $2M goal for the Endowed Chair, which will ensure that Indic spirituality and philosophy—so critical to the founding mission of the university—will forever be woven into the integral education offered at CIIS.
