Cultural norms and rampant ageism label midlife—our 40’s through 60’s—as the proverbial downhill slog to decline. The reality is entirely different and full of potential. In the last century, we have added about three decades to our life expectancies. Previous constructs based on shorter life spans no longer apply.
When we subscribe to society’s outdated default thinking, we think our story has been written and our physical, emotional, and mental energy is waning away as each day passes. The longevity patterns of the 21st century have created an opportunity to experience and understand midlife, or middlescence, as years full of renewal and possibility.
Join gerontologist and nationally renowned coach Barbara Waxman for a dynamic and interactive workshop on cultivating an energetic and empowered middlescence on your own terms. In this workshop, Barbara transforms your view of middlescence and provides tools to restore and maintain your energy. Integrating lecture, self-assessment, and interactive exercises, Barbara guides you through The Five Essential Elements to thriving in midlife to help you be your most effective and impactful self.
It is time to step into new ways of thinking and living in midlife!
