Decisions are an integral part of life. There's no getting around them. We make many decisions each day—some are small and seemingly inconsequential. Others are big decisions that change our lives. We worry. Is it the right decision or will we feel foolish for making the wrong decision? How are others going to regard our choice? What if we haven't thought of everything and there are horrible consequences? Some of us even have sleepless nights, nail-biting, jaw-clenching anxiety. For others, it's not so bad. But could it be easier, less painful, and even joyful? Yes.
It doesn't have to be painful. You can learn how to make stress-free decisions and actually trust the decisions that you make. This experiential workshop introduces a proven process that enables you to get clear about the competing voices in your head, discern your authentic desire vs. your fears, and separate fact-finding from the decision itself.
When you understand the phases of the decision process, it is easier to evaluate the risks and the potential rewards of your options. In this model, you'll learn how to let go of perfectionism and develop trust in your ability to listen and cope with what emerges. You'll find that celebrating your decision is more helpful than the alternatives.

Judith Bell, MS, Master LHEP, is founder and president of Rewire Leadership Institute and cofounder of Relationships That Work. From 1981 until 2004, Judith worked closely with Will Schutz, PhD, the creator of FIRO theory (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation). Considered one of the world's leading experts of FIRO, Judith mentors facilitators, coaches, therapists, and other professionals in the integration of the FIRO theory in their work. She applies the FIRO theory to her work with individuals, couples or pairs, groups, and organizations. She works with a diverse range of companies, from government agencies, non-profits, and Fortune Global 500s to small- and mid-sized family owned businesses, including such organizations as NASA, FRTIB, United States Army, Proctor & Gamble, AT&T, Schwan Food Company, Basin Street Properties, Restoration Hardware, and Friedman's Home Improvement.
She has created and facilitated personal growth, team development and organizational change seminars, coached executives and teams, facilitated strategic planning for high visibility meetings, and supported culture change for over four decades. Judith's flagship programs, Authentic Leadership 1: Becoming Your Authentic Self, and Authentic Leadership 2: Navigating the Interpersonal Word Mindfully, have been running since 2005 and have been attended by many leaders and people from twelve countries who are interested in their personal and professional development.
As chair of a Master's Program in Creative Arts Therapy at Antioch University, San Francisco, in the eighties, Judith developed and taught a wide variety of coursework and served as guest lecturer at many universities throughout the United States. She is responsible for bringing Drama Therapy into the program at Antioch which now resides at CIIS.
She is the co-author of Lovers for Life: Creating Lasting Passion, Trust, and True Partnership. She and her husband, Daniel Ellenberg, are writing a book on mindful conversations for Guilford Press.
