Biography

Based out of Winnipeg, Canada, Dr. Reece Malone, DHS, MPH, CSE-S, CST (he/him/siya) serves as the founder and CEO of Sexuality Consultants and Support Services Manitoba, Inc. along with its subsidiary company, Diversity Essentials. He is a certified sexologist and holds a Master of Public Health and Doctorate of Human Sexuality. 

Dr. Malone is a certified sexuality educator and supervisor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. As a sexual health educator and advocate, he offers consultation services, program development, and professional training across healthcare, social services, education, and private sectors. Additionally, he delivers public presentations on various sexuality wellness topics such as sexual and gender identity, intimacy and pleasure enrichment, and sexual empowerment. His therapeutic practice centers client collaboration striving to foster an environment where individuals and relationships are understood, valued, and respected. 

Moreover, Dr. Malone co-edited the recently published book An Intersectional Approach to Sex Therapy (Routledge, 2023). He also authored the Canadian Human Rights National Roundtable on Gender Identity and Gender Expression which contributed to the inclusion of Gender Identity to the Canadian Human Rights Act and prompted amendments to the Canadian Criminal Code. Complementing his private practice, Dr. Malone serves as an adjunct professor at Antioch University Seattle’s Couple and Family Therapy Department and is an active member of the Human Rights Committee of Winnipeg City Council.
