Biography
Kerubo Abuya, Ph.D., is an Organizational, Change Leadership and Transformation Scholar- Practitioner, and Adjunct Lecturer at the CIIS School of Consciousness and Transformation, Transformative Inquiry Department’s Transformative Leadership Program. She teaches “Ways of Relating: Interpersonal and Group Dynamics, serves on PhD students’ dissertation committees and has taught “Building Communities and Coalitions”.
A social scientist, educator, consultant, coach, and Utu/Ubuntu/Obomwanyabanto consciousness activist-scholar-practitioner, who levergaes participatory action research/emancipatory praxis, complexity and systems theory, critical theory, critical Afro- feminisms, critical pedagogy, partnership theory, transformative learning, dialogue, public narrative/stories, organizing, and other transformative pedagogies and interventions; todevelop or enhance leaders’ capacity to lead organizational, other forms of systems change, and cultural transformation.
Her transdisciplinary work and research interests explore multilayered intersections of complexity, social systems design/analysis/change, caring economics, spirituality, consciousness, culture, gender, human rights, transformative learning and leadership, values- based and conscious leadership in human-technology collaboration and digital transformation e.g., the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into organizational life, organizations associo-technical systems, and the future of work.
