Biography
Jordana holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies (SF, CA) and a certification in Creative Arts and Health from The New School University (NYC) and is a Provisional Registered Drama Therapist (PRDT). Jordana has worked with populations spanning from: underserved school-based settings; adults and adolescent psychiatric inpatient and outpatient; aging and older adults in memory care and inpatient psychiatric care; college and graduate students; and, currently working with adults, children, couples, and families in a supervised private practice. She is Adjunct Administrative and Advising Faculty at California Institute of Integral Studies. She has received continued training in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and Therapeutic Spiral Model (TSM) – a clinical psychodrama approach to treating PTSD safely and effectively with an internal role map. Jordana’s previous work centered around social and restorative justice and youth empowerment, facilitating healing arts spaces, and a music career as a singer-songwriter.
