Jillian Heron brings empathetic care and administrative experience to support students, faculty, and staff. Throughout her career, she weaves person-centered care within systems thinking. Jill has provided administrative services to event-based security and medical teams, coordinating peer support and harm reduction services at events, festivals, and gatherings throughout California and Costa Rica. She also served as a Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist at University of California, Santa Cruz, where she specialized in de-escalation, mental health crisis response, and student support. Jill holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. Her special interests include various mindfulness, movement, and energetic practices. She also likes crafting shea butter body mixes, making jewelry, and brewing apple cider vinegar.
