Biography

Dr. Cirincione is a Clinical Psychologist, private entrepreneur, international lecturer, and author who holds a B.S in Organizational Behavior, a Masters in Counseling Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has been invited to, and worked in, 61 countries on six continents and lectured in medical schools, universities, and organizations around the world in partnership with Dr. Gerald Jampolsky, her spouse and partner of 40 years. In addition to her corporate career, Dr. Cirincione has founded and owned six companies. She holds several leadership roles that complement and expand her commitment to compassionate education that improves lives. Currently, she is Founder and Executive Director of Attitudinal Healing International, supporting people of all ages in diverse cultures to learn to make their healthiest choices in challenging life circumstances. She serves as President of the Jampolsky Outreach Foundation, a non-profit foundation that supports independent Centers as well as culturally appropriate adaptations of Attitudinal Healing worldwide. Additionally, Dr. Cirincione serves on the Board of Governance of CIIS, the Board of Trustees of the World Business Academy, and the Boards of the Unstoppable Foundation, Omega Point Institute, Mo-DV Inc., and is Special Advisor to H2C Hydrogen Delivery Technologies.

From 1982-1992 both Drs. Cirincione and Jampolsky traveled to the Soviet Union, China, and Central America through their project Children as Teachers of Peace helping to empower youth from many countries to “see the face of their perceived enemy beyond politics” and decide for themselves.   In 1982 they inspired the first HIV/AIDS Support Groups and in 1987 they co-founded the first national AIDS Hotline for Kids for teachers, parents, and kids. They simultaneously created the multi-award winning poster, “I have AIDS – Please Hug Me – I Can’t Make You Sick.” In 2008 on the 60th Anniversary of the World Health Organization at the United Nations, the poster was designated as W.H.O.’s most effective educational tool worldwide in addressing the psycho-social needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS. It has been distributed by W.H.O. and used in more than 200 countries. They are also the visionaries and co-producers of three documentaries and are the recipients of 22 international humanitarian awards including the National Caring Institute Award, World Health Foundation Integrated Medicine Award, Soviet-American Citizen Award, Jehan Sadat Peace Prize, Ghandi-King Season for Non Violence Award, and the Ellis Island Medals of Honor.

Dr. Cirincione is the author of Sounds of the Morning Sun and The Identification of Relationships Between Women Witnessing Spousal Abuse in Childhood and Psychological Symptomatic Distress in Adulthood. She has also co-authored several books with Dr. Jampolsky including Love is the Answer, A Mini Course For Life, Change Your Mind - Change Your Life, Finding Our Way Home, Simple Thoughts That Can Change Your Life, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and most recently Aging With Attitude.
