Biography
AJ Phipps (they/them) is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving a diverse group of clients in the San Francisco Bay. Many paths converged to bring AJ to the field of psychotherapy including time spent volunteering in hospice, their own journey of healing, and their decades of studying esoteric and mystical traditions, including a focus on astrology, which led them to Jungian psychology.
AJ graduated from CIIS’ Bachelor of Arts and Integral Counseling Psychology (M.A.) programs. Both programs placed an emphasis on cultural humility, holistic healing and the responsibility we have to each other as citizens of this globe.
AJ currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Integral Counseling Psychology program, works with psychotherapy clients in a relational psychodynamic framework, and a spiritually centered practice for therapists and healers, called Witchy Sh!t for Therapists. See more at these websites:
