Naomi O’Keefe, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, licensed both in California (Lic. PSY16782) and in Washington State (PSYC.PY.60333225). She received her academic degrees from the University of Iowa, Sonoma State University, (California), and the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
Dr. O'Keefe’s experience includes extensive additional training in the field of human sexuality and couple’s therapy, as well as additional training in somatic therapies and clinical hypnotherapy. She has designed advanced university courses in graduate programs of psychology focusing on Human Sexuality, Couple’s Therapy, Group Therapy, and clinical applications of professional hypnotherapy. Dr. O’Keefe has been an invited speaker at graduate student internship sites and has been a Continuing Education Provider for licensed therapists.
Dr. O’Keefe is experienced in working with people from many cultural and professional backgrounds, as well as persons from the full spectrum of sexual identity and orientation. She has been widely consulted within the professional community as a mental health authority, particularly in the field of sexuality and relationships. Her therapy style is active, direct and respectful as she assists clients in the development and implementation of their unique, effective solutions.
