Psy.D. California School of Professional Psychology - San Francisco

Mankit Li Psy.D. received his doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology - San Francisco. In his research, Dr. Li coined the term "Internalized Stereotype-based Romantic Undesirability (ISRU)" to describe a phenomenon that is impacting the dating lives of many Asian American men. This research is a part of a larger project, in which he is developing a treatment protocol that may improve the self-concept of Asian American men and the quality of their dating lives. 

Dr. Li is also a registered psychologist that primarily practices in community mental health settings. He specializes in providing psychological assessments and individual therapy for Chinese Americans, in both Cantonese and English. He also specializes in working with individuals living with personality disorders.
