Lisa M. Christie, PhD, MBA, ACC, is an adjunct lecturer, writer, and a credentialed career coach, specializing in eco-feminist philosophy, process philosophy, eco-feminist theology, and the study of psychic and spiritual experiences and the implications of these experiences for metaphysics. She supports students in finding their purpose and vocation, and in bringing their voices to a larger audience. Lisa earned her doctoral degree in philosophy and religion, with a concentration in Women's Spirituality from CIIS; her master's degree in business administration from Santa Clara University; and her coaching certification from the International Coach Academy. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in-person and online since 2006, and is presently an adjunct lecturer at CIIS.
Lisa is transforming her dissertation into three books that seek to build a bridge between the modern Western separate sense of self and philosophical materialism to the more connected sense of self and holistic and organismic worldview suggested by many exceptional spiritual experiences. Her upcoming book is Reality Unbound: A New Science Exploration of Psychic Experiences and the Conscious World in Which We Live.
