Jessica is an applied theatre practitioner and transpersonal psychologist. She has extensive experience of creative programme development and expressive and ritual arts facilitation in community, education, and health contexts. As a creative facilitator, she specializes in combining physical theatre with spiritual song work and martial arts practice, drawing from her evolving expertise in the Japanese arts Aikido and Iaido. As a transpersonal educator, she focuses on teaching and facilitating integral/transpersonal pathways to individual and collective growth, the psychosomatics of creativity and transpersonal approaches to research.

Jessica is a Founding Director of the Alef Trust, a global online learning provider which offers education programmes in consciousness studies, spirituality and transpersonal psychology. Jessica is also Director of Creative Alternatives, an arts and wellbeing service which is funded by the UK government and operates in the Northwest of the UK.

Specialist Training & Practice

Jessica has extensive experience of physical theatre and somatic practices which she has developed for over two decades through trainings in ritual theatre, Authentic Movement, Butoh, Mind-Body-Centering, Process Work, 5Rhythms Dance and Contact Improvisation. Jessica has trained with: Sesame Institute (UK), Embody Move (UK), Process Work UK, and Odin Teatret (Denmark). Jessica also has been training intensively in the Japanese martial arts Aikido & Iaido since 2007 under 7th Dan Ezra Sensei at Komyokan Aikido Association.
