Francoise Bourzat holds a BA in Psychology (Pairs, 1976) and an MA in Somatic Psychology from New College of California (San Francisco, 1996). She also graduated from the San Francisco Hakomi Institute (1991). Since 1987, Francoise has apprenticed with Shamans in the United States and Mexico to study sacred plants and healing. In the last 13 years she has traveled with groups to Mexico, incorporating her counseling practice experience with her knowledge of expanded states of consciousness, which is also the subject of her course here at the Institute: Expanded States of Consciousness and Psychotherapy. She also teaches workshops in the United States, Mexico, France, England, and Israel.
