Daniela Koenig, MFT, is a licensed therapist, trainer and graduate school professor. She holds a MA in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. She has studied at the Northern California Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Center and has completed the CIIS Sex Therapy Certificate program and is working towards her AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists) certification.
Having grown up in Europe, as a bi-racial woman with different cultures and languages, she brings a deep understanding of differences, culture, inclusion and identity to her work. She has a bilingual practice in English and German in San Francisco. Her teaching is influenced by multiple cultural perspectives, as well as post-colonial and feminist theory.
In her private practice Daniela helps couples and individuals deepen their connection with themselves and with their partners and loved ones. She brings a passion for helping people be in right relationship with themselves - body, mind, heart and sprit. She enjoys working with interracial couples to support them create the relationships they really want.
