Charles E. "Chip" McAuley IV, Ph.D. is Adjunct Dissertation Chair and Faculty in the Transformative Studies Doctoral Program. He is a charter member of the Society for Consciousness Studies, Editor of Continuum: The Newsletter of the Society for Consciousness Studies and member of the Editorial Board of the scholarly journal CONSCIOUSNESS: Ideas and Research for the Twenty First Century. McAuley is also Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Culture Counter Magazine.
Previously, McAuley taught in the Communication Studies Department at Sonoma State University and was a Special Consultant Science Writer/Producer for NASA Education and Public Outreach. He has written many articles for the popular press and is a consciousness theorist.
His wide ranging interests include the study of philosophy, consciousness, mythology, religion, spirituality, science, literature, cinema, popular culture and more. He can be reached at cemcauley@comcast.net.
