Many people may be aware that their relationships are not ones that are in their best interest, but they may not know what to do about it. Toxic relationships that are chaotic, abusive, and emotionally unavailable affect our mental and physical health and wellbeing. Exploring avenues for understanding and healing from unhealthy experiences with family members, romantic partners, or professional relationships can help us move forward and foster personal growth.
Join psychotherapist and creator of A Date with Darkness Podcast, Dr. Natalie Jones for an illuminating and restorative workshop on understanding and healing from toxic relationships.
In this interactive workshop, Dr. Jones shares the impact that unhealthy relationships with primary caregivers, family members, and intimate partnerships can have on our psychological and emotional health. She helps participants define toxic relationships and identify red flags and unhealthy behaviors. With Dr. Jones guidance, participants understand how these experiences affect attachments and mental health and shares actionable steps and methods for healing.

Dr. Natalie Jones, PsyD, LPCC, is a licensed psychotherapist, the owner of Lifetime Counseling and Consulting, the creator of A Date With Darkness Podcast, and a mental wellness consultant. She specializes in counseling those who have experienced relationship trauma, which includes childhood wounds, neglect and abandonment, and narcissistic abuse. Dr. Jones provides consulting and training to corporations and leaders who are looking to improve dynamics in the workplace.
Dr. Jones has a podcast called A Date with Darkness Podcast, which specializes in providing education and tips on healing from narcissistic abuse in relationships. Dr. Jones received her master’s in clinical counseling psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Jones has also written blogs for the Minds Journal, Peskind Law Firm, Therapy for Black Girls, and Medium. Dr. Jones has also been featured on the show For My Man on TV One and on Fox News Sacramento, as well as several other podcasts.
