Healthy Relating Through Somatic Awareness
A Workshop With Shirley Dvir
Two-Day Online Workshop, Three Hours Per Day
Healthy relationships with the people we love, our families, friends, and communities are at the core of our deepest longings. However, our habitual way of relating, the way we learned how to relate from our childhood and past experiences, can interfere with our longing. By cultivating a practice of somatic awareness, we can start listening to our body’s wisdom to guide us towards new ways of healthy relating.
Join Somatic therapist and founder of Relational Somatic Healing, Shirley Dvir for an experiential workshop exploring somatic awareness for relational healing. Through a mix of lecture, demonstration, guided exercises, small group practice, and group sharing Shirley provides ways of understanding healthy relating and increased somatic awareness to help you start practicing steps for better relating. Shirley guides participants through embodiment exercises to increase somatic awareness, noticing our body’s sensations including breath, vibrations, skin, and energetic field. Understand your habitual ways of relating, what healthy relating feels like, and acquire tools to cultivate healthier ways of relating.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in deepening their connection to their body and enhancing the quality of their relationships.
