During this daylong retreat will be taking a deep dive into our own hearts and minds, cultivating meditative stillness of mind and body and looking deeply into the nature of our own experience. There will be an emphasis on learning how to inhabit our bodies with awareness (in whatever condition they might be), and bringing a fresh, kind, and spacious awareness to everything that arises. Cultivating intimacy with our own experience, we let life itself become the curriculum. There will be an emphasis on developing mindfulness in all daily activities to foster a seamless continuity of life and practice.
This day will include a systematic unfolding of meditation instructions, periods of guided sitting and walking meditation, short lectures/teachings and periods of conversation and dialogue about our unfolding experience.
