On March 8, 2018, the Human Sexuality PhD program welcomed student Elliott Kronenfeld for a book talk and book signing. In a talk that was open to students, clinicians, and therapists, Elliott talked about ways to improve relationships through intentionality.
Elliott owns and is clinical director of Insight Psychotherapy in the metro-Boston area, where he specializes in helping couples and individuals work through intimacy, infidelity, and infertility challenges.
Elliott's talk was the first in a series of Sex Talks, presentations that are sponsored by the Human Sexuality PhD Program and designed to provide practical guidance and education for individuals, practitioners, and their communities. The second Sex Talk will be on April 28, when program founder Gilbert Herdt discusses Sex and Morality in the Time of Trump. Dr. Herdt's talk is co-sponsored by the alumni office at CIIS as part of CIIS' 50th anniversary celebration.
