About the Presentation
This talk will cover the development of one’s analytic style: where theory, technique, and personality intersect in the developing psychotherapist. Case vignettes will be used to illustrate analytic styles. Participation from the audience will be encouraged.
About the Presenter
Dr. Maureen Franey, Ph.D, . is a psychoanalyst; and a marriage, family, andy & child therapist. She has an office in Albany, California,a. & has been in private practice for twenty-seven 27 years. She is a personal and& supervising analyst and cChair of aAdmissions at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC), and is also on the supervisory staff at CPMC. She currently sees adults and couples, and runs an on-going consultation group. Her orientation favors a British Middle School of Object Relations framework, and she works from a relational perspective.
