Give yourself some extra TLC this Winter -- discover your inner resources for Winter Wellness!
Are you someone who experiences low mood and energy levels, stress around travel and family visits, physical depletion and frequent illnesses during the Winter months?
Guided Imagery has been widely recognized for its effectiveness in treating Seasonal Affective Disorder, travel anxiety and the stress-related illnesses that abound during holiday times. This workshop will focus on using Imagery to maintain balance, energy & wellness during the holidays.
In this two-hour workshop, you will:
• learn to use imagery to manage stress and support your immune/nervous systems
• be guided in discovering skills and easy-to-implement daily tools unique to your personal winter wellness needs
• develop an empowering relationship with your intuition.
This workshop will include exercises in grounding, Guided Visualization and mining images for meaning through collage, writing and/or drawing. While Guided Imagery works quickly and touches deeply, this workshop is also about creative care, relaxation and ease. You will definitely have an opportunity to enjoy yourself and the process. Please wear comfortable clothing you can relax in and bring your journal!
